Mold Spore Air Test
Mold Spore Air Test
Mold is often the gateway to many illnesses. Have peace of mind and find out if mold is present inside your home, office, or car. Where you spend time inside should be free from mold. Mold thrives outside in humid, damp, and cold environments, it just shouldn’t be inside. If you suspect it or see it inside, testing is the best defense to know what type of mold and how much your dealing with. The biggest risk of mold is that it emits microscopic spores into the air (mycotoxins), making them easy to inhale and make people feel unwell.
Some mold species are more hazardous than others, and different people react to mold exposure with differing degrees of severity.
This test is easy to do, accurate and we work with the best labs in the country that provide professional reports. We also go over them with you to help you make a mitigation plan if necessary.

Before Testing Instructions
Keep exterior doors and windows closed as much as possible for at least 2-3 days before and during sample collection.
Also, turn off all standalone air filters and air purifiers for 2-3 days.
Do NOT turn off the heating and/or air conditioning systems.
Do NOT mow grass, rake leaves, or otherwise disturb the property on the day of sampling.
Choose a day when it’s not raining or snowing for the best results.
Leave all interior doors (including closets) open to allow the air to flow freely.
Refrain from frying or cooking with oils the day before and during the test to prevent artificially high VOC results. Also, please do not cook at all during the test.
Do not clean or dust during the test or within 12 hours of beginning the test. For homes greater than 2,000 square feet or with several levels, you may want to consider performing more than one test in order to collect air samples representative of the entire home. Some possible sampling locations in larger homes are: the center area of each floor; one side of the house on one floor and the other side of the house on another floor; two sides of a single-story home; or any room(s) in the house where the occupants spend the most time, like a family room, basement, bedroom, etc.
Do not clean or dust during the test or within 12 hours of beginning the test.
